amiemParticipantI’m due with my first child Dec 4th and am looking for another family who would like to nanny share.
I plan to take three months off work, so looking for care beginning of March 2014. I need to leave for work by 7am and am home by 4:15-4:30 at the latest, M-F. If you have a slightly different schedule, we can talk about options. If you leave later and get home later, maybe you watch the children for a bit in the morning and I can watch them in the afternoon. I’ll try to be as flexible as I can.
What’s really important to me is that the care provider be consistent, loving and attentive. Prior childcare experience isn’t a must, but passing a background check and providing references is. Someone who will fix healthy meals and snacks, interact with the children, take them outdoors as much as is feasible with weather, nap schedules, etc. I also want no (or at least the minimal possible) ‘screen time’ (TV, iPad, etc) before age two.
In my home or yours, or a split are all okay as long as the distance isn’t too great. I live on the Seattle side of White Center – Barton and 17th Ave SW. I’d be willing to go to West Seattle proper (Junction, High Point, etc), North Burien, Beacon Hill – anywhere along the route to I-90 as I work in Factoria.
I’d love to keep the cost to $1300/mo (for each family) but could stretch to $1500 for the perfect person and situation. Perhaps if we have overlapping schedules (such as described above) a lower cost would be feasible.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in discussing, please get in touch.
Amie
