inside job is available on comcast on demand at the moment. so we spent the $4.99 and had a look.

to anyone who doesn’t understand why wall street imploded in ’08 and why congress coughed up $700 billion to bail them out – i encourage you to watch this movie. it simplifies (without being simplistic) and explains things like derivatives and credit default swaps, and it puts the entire economic collapse into perspective.

if you think the people that caused this are liberals, you have your head pretty far up your own sand box, and you should be required to watch it.

although i will blame congressional democrats’ reaction to the collapse and bailout – for not using hank paulsen’s demand for bailout money as an opportunity to kick wall street’s ass back into line and clean the corporate shills out of the treasury and fed.
