furryfacesParticipantFurry Faces Foundation always enjoys welcoming more people into our social, caring group. We are all about pet retention and prevention; helping people that are financially restricted keep their pets with them and out of animal shelters/rescue groups.
We put on a lot of fundraisers, so there are always lots of different jobs/tasks up for grabs. In fact, we are just rolling into our big fundraising season:
1) Catsino Silent Auction, April 7th [Deal a game; ‘bus’ the tables; run the raffle; etc.]
2) Heels For Hounds Silent Auction and Wine Tasting, April 21st [help put up flyers; collect shoe donations; setup the event the night before; staff the event; etc[]
3) 14th annual Plant Sale Season in May & June.
]Transplant donated plants; start plants from seed; staff the event; put up flyers; put out street signs; cashier; etc.]
There are many opportunities to:
–pick food and pet accessory donations, then delivering them to clients, including our local food banks
–drive clients to the Vet with their pet
–answer phone calls to find out what type of assistance is needed
If you are interested, just drop us a line or show up at one the events! Thanks for wanting to make a difference in our community!
