westwood neighborMemberThe last 3 evenings there has been a guy in a green shirt going door to door in the 36th and Cambridge area. Has been spotted just sitting in his car for over an hour at a time and then getting out and going door to door again. Given that there are less than 50 houses on the block I am puzzled. Anyone got any resolution? Have been driving past so have not had the chance to flag him down and inquire.

CaitParticipantI would report it just in case – doesn’t sound legit.

singularnameParticipantResolution: Ask him.

TrisketParticipantOh good lord. If got close enough to him then you would see the Anderson Window logo on his shirt. He’s selling effen windows. Why don’t you just make a list of everyone in the world and report them.

westwood neighborMemberI will report them to the Snark police. Apparently that is the preferred method here.
If you had taken the time to read the original post you would have seen that I spotted this guy several times whilst I was driving and was not in a position to ask him.

FionaEnzoParticipantThere are enough door-to-door scams (my neighbors are dealing with a $15k swindle of their elderly mother via a door-to-door scam artist) to warrant a neighborly inquiry and “heads up.” And anyone can put on an Anderson window shirt to begin their door-to-door foray. Snark police indeed; it was a legitimate inquiry. And same goes with “official looking” vehicles.

DBPMemberWhy are people on here so quick to judge other folks’ clothing choices?
Perhaps this town isn’t the tolerant, accepting place I thought it was . . .

FionaEnzoParticipantYay! Anderson Window-Guy has a theme song. He’ll have to carry tiny speakers in case any suspicions surface. Maybe get a blazer and mock turtleneck, too.
