WWMomParticipantHi There,
Just want to let folks know about a research study happening in downtown Seattle for people with chronic neck pain. Here are the details:
Is your neck pain becoming a pain in the neck?
If you suffer from chronic neck pain, you might be interested in Group Health’s latest study of therapeutic massage
First, answer these five questions to see if you might be eligible for the study:
Are you 20-64 years old?
Have you had neck pain for at least 3 months?
Have you NOT received massage for neck or back pain within the last year?
Have you NOT received massage for any reason within the last 3 months?
Are you able to attend massage treatments up to three times per week at the Metropolitan Park East Building in Downtown Seattle?
If you answer YES to all these questions, you may be eligible for this study!
Call 1-888-324-3651 today if you’re interested in taking part.
If you get our voicemail, leave your name, telephone number and the best time for us to reach you.
One of our team members will call you about the study and ask you a few more questions to see if you may be eligible.
Space is limited. Call us today at 1-888-324-3651
Thanks!

JanSParticipantIf you have neck pain, this is a good opportunity to get some relief and help the medical community understand how effective massage can be. I already know that it’s effective, of course. Necks are my favorite thing to work on in my massage practice. :)

SueParticipantAnd Jan does a heck of a job on neck problems with massage, let me tell you!

WWMomParticipantHi There,
Thanks for the comments. I know there have to be some West Seattlites out there with neck pain and this is a good opportunity to hopefully get some relief and at the same time help out the community at large by providing important information about massage as a treatment for neck pain.

AimParticipantWith Ankylosing Spondylitis, osteophytes and foraminal stenosis, am I DQ’d? Are you primarily looking for muscular neck pain patients? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time (including my own) if I’d be ruled out at the first visit.
That said, I have friends with muscular neck pain and can pass the word if you can confirm the pt profile you’re looking for. :-)

Muddy GirlMemberJust as an FYI you must have medical insurance and cannot be in the application process for social security disability benefits.
