Got this from Furry Faces Foundation. Tonight’s fundraiser is at Abbondanza – they’re still working on details of exactly what will be transpiring at the event.

Elvis recently had an accident that resulted in a serious injury to his left hind leg.
Brittany, Elvis’s owner, contacted Animals First Foundation for advice and
assistance:
‘My name is Brittany and I have a small Chihuahua named Elvis,
The other day my friend was playing around with my dog and Elvis fell
wrong from a short height and tore all the ligaments in his foot. A
few friends recommended that I contact you in the fact that I have
absolutely no source of income to get him the surgery that he needs to
heal. I’m totally freaking out about this because this is my heart, he
is my life and he doesn’t deserve to be in pain like this. Could you please
point me in the right direction to get the help I need? I haven’t even
found a place to take him for the procedure yet, any information
would be fantastic’.
Animals First Foundation, (AFF), a new West Seattle based 501(c)3, sent Brittany to
South Seattle Veterinary Hospital for a second opinion. Ends up Elvis’ joint is dislocated, along with some ligament tearing. Corrective surgery, at a cost of $1,800.00, is required as he cannot be left in this condition. Next step, AFF directed Brittany to Furry Faces Foundation for financial assistance and fundraiser advice.
In collaboration with South Seattle Veterinary Hospital, the ‘Elvis Anderson’ fund has been established to help cover the cost of Elvis’ surgery and rehab. Although Furry Faces Foundation can assist with some of the cost, Elvis is hoping those that know him and the greater community can help him with the balance. If you would like to donate, here’s how:
1. South Seattle Veterinary Hospital can take credit/debit cards over the phone. Their number is 206-242-8338.
2. You can go in person to South Seattle Veterinary Hospital, located at 11033 1st Avenue South, Seattle, 98168 (just southeast of White Center)
3. Watch for announcements of fundraisers that Brittany will be coordinating and hosting.
