Highland Park Corner Store is a friendly third place that serves our neighbors here in West Seattle. We’re currently looking for an experienced barista to join our team. Read on for more details!
What you’ll do:
– Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
– Make and serve specialty ice cream
– Heat and serve prepared foods
– Pour and serve draft beer and wine by the glass
– Process transactions at the register
– Open the store, including dialing in the espresso machine and setting up exterior tables and chairs
– Make house made items, such as coffee syrups, chai, granola, and cold brew, as needed
– Input items into inventory and restock shelves
– Greet and build relationships with customers
– Follow guidelines regarding cleanliness and safety
– Support the store with other side work as needed during your shift
Please reach out if you:
– Have 2+ years work experience as a barista, preferably as an opener
– Are dependable, proactive, and team-oriented
– Are available to work weekday mornings
– Can contribute to a positive and respectful work environment
– Are 21 years of age or older
Pay Rate: $21.50/hr + tips
