Position Description

As an Assistant cafe manager for Cupcake Royale you need to be able to work the floor while assisting in managerial responsibilities. First and foremost this position is 100% about placing the customer 1st, Finding the “Yes” in every situation, and being on team members side by making sure they have everything they need to be successful.

Tuesday-Saturday- Open availability is needed for this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring Exceptional Customer service is being given at all times

Regularly working floor shifts and providing great customer service. (We are working managers and you need to lead by example)

Working closely and cooperatively with Store manager, bakery manager and office team to ensure a smooth operation

Ensure proper staffing levels are meant to provide great customer service within the labor budget

Preparing reports for the day/week, including labor control, waste control and sales.

Maintaining high standards of quality control using company tools and systems

Extensive knowledge of coffee, Ice cream and Baking

Overseeing cafe equipment maintenance and repair coordination

Detailed and accurate with cash handling policy, upholds all policies and procedures.

Additional Job Requirements:

1+ years of barista experience

1+ years of Management experience

Ability to effectively manage staff performance
