I’ve gone twice to the SW Precinct to talk to someone about how to respond if they get a 911 call from my house. The doors have been locked both times, even though the website says they’re open.

Then I tried calling the non-emergency number, and got referred to a central number, which didn’t have any of the options I needed.

How do I contact a live human at the precinct about need-to-know, just-in-case info?

Hi. We published a story a couple months ago about how the precinct has to have everybody on the street. About the only thing I can recommend is to try reaching one of the Community Police Team officers – google Southwest Precinct Community Police Team (I can’t search right now) and it’ll come up. Good luck. – TR
