Pollywogs Play School is looking for an assistant! Pollywogs is a West Seattle licensed in home child daycare, caring for children from birth through 5yo. We are searching for a fun, energetic, and persevering individual. This is a part time position Tuesday- Friday with the possibility of soon becoming full time. This job is ideal for someone looking to get started in a career with children.
Duties include general child care, preparing meals and snacks, cleaning, interacting with the children both one on one and as a group, and organizing and carrying out age appropriate creative activities.
Requirements:
Willing to complete with in the first 30 days…
Infant and child first aid and CPR certification.
HIV/AIDS and blood borne pathogens certification.
Background check and fingerprinting (if out of state).
Willingness to complete STARS training.
Any of these already completed is a huge plus. You need to be able to take initiative.
A reliable, caring and inventive personality is a must. The position is available starting now. Training is provided now through mid July.
