There is a limited run movie about the original “Mastermind of underhanded politics”.

If your interested in a good movie that describes the Jurassic phase of Rovian tactics (whisper, campaigns, character assassination, etc…), this movie is very educational and worth a viewing.

It’s amazing to see origin of tactics constructed 30 years ago deployed almost per bat-em to those used in today’s politics. Be prepared to want to shower when you get home…

Currently playing at the “Central Cinema” in Seattle for a very limited time.

Funny – I was watching a show that included Lee Atwater the other night. Hadn’t thought about him in a while – I bet the documentary is enlightening.

Has anyone seen the Oliver Stone movie on Bush yet?

Shoot, I’m so swamped grading papers these days that I thought it already opened! Maybe the gf and I will have to sneak out this weekend for a show.

In the Atwater movie, there are many clips of Bush in his early years. Atwater was a major reason why he won his Texas governor position.

    He was Karl Roves mentor.

Bush is and was crafty and smarter than most portray him to be, but it was his team (Atwater, Rove)that gave him all of his opportunities.

I am hoping “W” will keep it real so “We Don’t Get Fooled Again” (ahem) so to speak.
