sassyMemberLooking for a great facial recommendation in the West Seattle area. Prefer a specific person, not just a spa!
Ideally a mellow, relaxing environment – and under $100.
Thanks very much.

addParticipantI can highly recommend Danielle Varanda with Essential Services – she runs a small “studio” out of her home and she gives THE BEST facials. Totally relaxing, great scalp, shoulder, & neck massage, high quality products, and my skin looks and feels great for days after. I think her prices are very reasonable, too. 206-932-4086.

SEGMemberJane at Ola is sooooo great! $75 for an hour and a half. She is calming, healing, and a wonderful human. And she makes your skin beautiful!

nuniMemberadd – how much do you usually pay for your facials?

carrieannMemberIn the same vein, does anyone have experience with Envy on Alki? I have a gift certificate to their skin boutique, for a “mini facial with treatment mask”, but have never actually had these services done, professionally.

AlkiRagdollParticipantMonica at Belli Capelli. I had a facial today with her. Incredibly relaxing, quiet meditative room, she really knows skin, and has made mine much better in the last year. I go every 6-7 weeks. $70 for a full hour of bliss.

addParticipantNuni – I’m not exactly sure of the price because I often combine other services or buy products when I’m getting a facial. :) I know that Danielle has a range of facial services/treatments but I’m almost certain that they start below $100 for 80 minutes. I’ll find out and post more details.

JasperbluParticipantAlong these same lines, I’m looking for someone in West Seattle who does facial, extractions, AND micro-dermabrasion.
Suggestions?
Cheers,
C ~

MaterMemberMonica Silva for sure! I’ve gone to her for years for waxing and started getting facials a year ago. Here is her website: http://westseattleskincare.com/

lady librarianParticipantTiann at The Body Bar is fantastic! The place is really mellow without being too much so (I find some places over do it with the “relaxing” new age music) and very comfortable. $85 for an hour or 20% off during happy hour and you’ll get a massage in between various treatments.

WSLiferParticipantGlad to see a recommendation for Tiann at The Body Bar – she’s fantastic! I like the ‘combo’ that gives you a very thorough facial plus massage and it is under $100! I tell everyone I know about Tiann since in all massages and facials I’ve ever had, she is the Best.
