HPDoxieMemberI’ve been looking for infant care in West Seattle the last few months. Does anyone have any experience with All About Kids Daycare?

lohohoMemberHi HPDoxie,
From the reviews I read there are a lot of parents happy with the care. When I toured the place, I found the facilities to be a bit cramped and dark (not may windows with the railroad style set up they have). I ended up taking my infant son there but after a few months realized it was not the place for us. Since then we’ve been at Ages in Stages and have been happy there for 1.5 years.

HPDoxieMemberThanks for the feedback lohoho. We called Ages in Stages a while ago and they have a wait list until NOV/DEC 2011!! Bummer!

lohohoMemberIf you call Ages and Stages and talk to one of the owners and tell them your story they could probably work something out. I was really trying to get out of All About Kids and showed up at the Ages in Stages building and pleaded with Stacey the owner. She rearranged some of the students to get my son in to the infant room. They are good people there and understand how hard it is to find a good daycare.

SpeakLoudMemberYou can check with Learning Way School and Daycare-they recently had a spot.
Otherwise check with ChildCare Resources-you pay a small fee and they will tell you all the childcares in the area and possibly if they have space-it depends on wether the program has updated the records with CCR.

madowMemberLearning way does not handle bulling.
I went for a visit and a kid was literally hitting on the face and stomachs other kid, the most surprising was that the director was in the same room, no one stops them, no one intervenes etc.
So I, asked the director about it and her response was “well that’s the way they learn.
My son is not there, obviously.
