Today was a sad day. While out walking our dogs on 63rd near Cactus we witnessed a brown striped cat (female) get hit. Unfortunately- she did not survive. We called Pamela from FCAT and she sent someone to help us since we were over a mile from home without a car. Let this be a reminder to all to keep our pets indoors and safe! This cat seemed to young to die.

My volunteer took the cats to Lein animal clinic. she did have a microchip hope it was up to date.

Sad indeed – she was a beautiful girl. Thanks for calling, beachdrivegirl, and yes, Lien was going to check on the microchip. If you think she might be your cat and you know that the microchip record wasn’t current, you might want to give them a call. I’m sorry for your loss :(
