Saturday, September 21st, national touring singer-songwriter and master guitarist Jack Williams will return to Kenyon Hall in Seattle.

There’s a lot to love about a Jack Williams performance. For me it comes down to a phenomenal facility at the guitar combined with a deep knowledge of styles. His music, rooted in his native South Carolina, is shaped by a 60-year career of playing folk, rock, jazz, rhythm and blues, and the popular music of the 30s, 40s and 50s. He’s a writer of vivid songs with a strong sense of place, and a storyteller in the old Southern tradition, who illustrates each tale with his dazzling guitar work. Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul, & Mary) called him the ‘best guitar player I’ve ever heard.” He has collaborated with many iconic recording artists of our time including Peter Yarrow, Tom Paxton, Mickey Newbury, and the late Harry Nilsson.

Tickets are $20 general and $18 seniors and students, with no table seating. Tickets are available at the door, or may be reserved by contacting 206-937-3613 or kenyonhall@earthlink.net
