Ken Waldman, Alaska’s Fiddling Poet, is bringing seven terrific Seattle musicians to Kenyon Hall for a roots music variety show. Joining Ken will be a pair of old-time duos, Squirrel Butter and W.B. Reid & Bonnie Zahnow; and a trio, Red Dog (featuring fiddler and former Velvet Underground bass player, Doug Yule). Ken will introduce the opening sets with a brief poem, then let the musicians take off. For his own concluding set, he promises a full-blown West Seattle music party, complete with clogging by Charmaine Slaven. The evening of variety will appeal to anyone who enjoys traditional music, powerful singing, exciting dancing, smart poetry, acclaimed storytelling, or Alaska!

Reserved table seats are $14. Row seating is $12 general and $10 seniors. With a reservation, row seating is only $10 general and $8 seniors. Elementary, middle & high school students are $5. Pre-school children are free.
