WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: Gunfire investigation

ORIGINAL THURSDAY REPORT: Police have so far reported recovering at least three shell casings at the scene of gunfire reports near 37th/Manning. No word of any injuries or property damage. So far the only description information is “black sedan.”

ADDED MONDAY: Here’s the SPD summary of the incident:

At 2257 hours, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3700 block of 37th Avenue Southwest. Officers recovered shell casings from the intersection of 37th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Manning Street. Video was provided to officers showing two vehicles entering the intersection. A road rage ensued whereupon several shots were fired from one fleeing car. No victim located.

    Near miss at the intersection and the driver fired 3 shots towards the other car (who was already a block away).
