Just in from Seattle Public Utilities – no residential solid-waste pickup tomorrow, tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday, depending on conditions. That means every day this week slides by at least one day – Tuesday pickup on Wednesday, etc. Read the full announcement here. (Also mentioned: “Contractors will attempt to serve priority commercial locations” tomorrow.)

Received a TM from SPU this evening with the announcement. Credit to SPU for letting us know, since I’m sure many, including myself, were wondering.

Peter S. – my neighbors and I bet it would be delayed a day, but hedged by putting the garbage and food waste at the curb anyway.

  So did I, until I got the TM. Then back out to curb to haul it back and let the neighbors know, too :)
