Water trouble in Gatewood, Arbor Heights

Thanks to Troy for the tip. If you are having any water trouble in Gatewood, could be related to a problem in the vicinity of 39th SW/SW Rose, where that crew has been working. Nothing is showing on the Seattle Public Utilities water-outage map, so we have an inquiry out and will update with whatever we hear back.

ADDED WEDNESDAY NIGHT: We have yet to get a response from SPU. But as noted in comments, Arbor Heights had an outage today too, near 37th and 106th. That one did turn up on the map.

There was a crew working at 37th SW and SW Trenton yesterday.

The water-outage map, unlike the power-outage map, shows outages for a while after they’re over and does show there was a 30-customer outage in that area for less than 3 hours yesterday afternoon. We didn’t hear from anyone or else we would have reported it – TR

The main feeder line on the street side cracked, spewed water all over the street, and had to be repaired. They did a really great job of communicating and resolving the problem quickly.

They are currently working on a water main leak on SW 107th st in Arbor heights. I can hear the jack hammers for an hour or so now.

Thanks. I still haven’t heard back from SPU on the one reported here BUT yours is now on the map, as of 3:42 pm.

Sorry, comment time is over.
