A midsize Seattle Fire response is at an apartment building in the 4500 block of 42nd SW right now. It’s reported to have been a kitchen fire, already extinguished, but one person suffered hand burns and will be treated.
Which apartment building?Altamira, AJ, Oregon 42, Alaska House, and Adell are all on that block.
The logged address was 4545 42nd SW. However, we didn’t go, so I can’t say for sure that was the actual address – as we have often noted, the fire log sometimes reflects the address from which an incident was reported, not necessarily the one where it occurred.
