Does anyone else think that Fauntleroy has been particularly backed up this week between Edmunds and 35th Ave SW even though both Avalon and the Bridge have been wide open once you get there?  I’m wondering if the timing on some lights are off…

It has been horrific in my opinion! The timing of the lights is off because of the construction on 35th/Avalon. This has been delaying my 21x by about 20-30 minutes each evening. I’m sad that it appears that it will be this way until November?

How do people feel about metro buses NOT using the bus-only  lane on the WSB?Now that we no longer see NB99 backups (at least I don’t at 6:45am) I more often than not see metro coming up the Delridge on ramp  and staying in the right(exit) lane during the entire length of the bridge.Shouldn’t they be using the bus-only lane – like they did prior – until (at minimum)  2/3 of the way down the eastbound slope? Seems like wasted pavement if they don’t.If there is no longer an advantage, then open it up to all traffic.

It’s already open to  traffic-see cars using it all the time. They’re not supposed to-but hey-who cares right?

I care.  It’s a distinct advantage for buses as it SHOULD be.  No argument from me.  I hate bus lane cheaters. That said, the buses should USE IT whether there is a backup or not.  Otherwise, let’s just open them all up – legally.

I see plenty of Cars using the Bus lane everyday at 7:15 AM M-F.  They cruise in it all the way from when they get on from Avalon or Delridge.  I never see them get pulled over.  Some even hop in it when the far left two lanes get backed up.  So yes someone is using it all the time when I am on the bridge.

Sorry, comment time is over.
