I gotta say… the posted speed limit feels WAY too slow for me. 35, maybe. 30 is so hard to maintain on that hill.

Wah Wah! 30 is too slow…I drive HP Way & Admiral almost everyday and have no issues maintaining 30 MPH. It’s not that hard, just stop texting, drinking your oversized high-calorie coffee drink and actually pay attention to the driving part! It’s amazing what a wee bit of personal resposibility will do!

107mph? that will get the judges attention.

Thanks for the plug for personal responsibility, I agree with that part. My complaint is with the 30mph limit on arterials with no cross streets like Admiral and Highland Park. Way too slow when these streets are very close to limited access. Why is it safe to drive at 35mph on Fauntleroy or 35th with cross streets, bus stops, residences, businesses, and playfields?

Dizzle, you hit the nail on the head!

Admiral and Highland Park have side streets and homes on both hills. Changing the speed limit to 35 on both hills would not stop idiots from driving 50+ mph.

How many miles per hour over the posted speed limit is considered reckless driving where they impound your car and take to jail? I thought it was anything over 30+. These excessive speeders are putting the public at risk, They need to be put in jail, go to court and have their licenses suspended.

speaking on admiral hill, what bothers me more than the speeders are the jerkos that stop to hold up traffic so they can turn and cross the double lines to get in their driveways

    I feel safer already.

Sorry, comment time is over.
