Need someplace to get online with a publicly accessible computer, besides library branches? Here’s a new option – Southwest Community Center (2801 SW Thistle) has just announced classes as well as a couple hours a day of “open” use time. Read on for the announcement, with details:

The Southwest Community Center has re-launched its community computer lab.

Need to write a resume, scan and fix those old family photos and upload to Facebook or just get some basic help?

Programs are planned for adults and youth, drop by to find out what is being offered.

Suggestions for programming are encouraged, as are requests by community groups who see a need for access to internet connected computers with office and media software.

Computers 101 11 a.m.
Jobs Online 12 p.m.
Keep up with Kids Online 1 p.m.

Tuesday
Keep in Touch with Family Online 1 p.m.
Excel 7 p.m.

Wednesday
Keep up with Grand-kids Online 11 a.m.
Word and Office 12 p.m.
Computers 101 1 p.m.

Thursday
Photography Online 7 p.m.

Open Access, Mon ~ Thurs, 2~3 p.m. and 6~7 p.m. and when space is available.

Homework Help, Mon ~ Friday, 3~4 p.m.
