West Seattle Weather Watch: “Scattered rain and snow showers”

That’s what the brand-new National Weather Service city forecast predicts for the “rest of today.” We’re hearing of snowflake sightings (not sticking) in some parts of West Seattle – though here at WSB HQ in Upper Fauntleroy, it’s suddenly sunny. 12:21 PM UPDATE: OK, *now* we have snow – light, but definitely snow.

I thought I saw some small wet flakes falling outside my window here at work in Belltown. Guess it wasn’t my imagination after all. I’ll be glad when it passes.
