Mosaic Homes never responded to our request for comment on this WSB report that the West Ridge Apartments‘ conversion to Gables condos is on hold if not completely canceled. However, we have been checking their website weekly, and as of today, the “coming soon” page that mentioned Gables is suddenly blank.

Have you tried their management company? At the time I moved out it was Allied Group, Inc. – they never updated their webpage with WRP, so we can’t make any assumptions by that on whether they’re still managing it.
BTW, on Mosaiic’s “now selling” page is the Bluegrass condos in Everett – those, I believe, have been on sale since summer 2006 and aren’t sold out yet, if that page is any indication.
It’s also interesting to note that the big sign at the front entrance that said “1 & 2 bedroom condos for sale…coming Fall 2007” has been removed. The “for lease” signs that use to only say short-term leases, now make no such limitation. Sounds like their actions provide the confirmation.
