Thanks to reader K for sending pix of the most eagerly awaited animal act to hit West Seattle since the baby seals. (News about them, coming up in a bit.) We are processing video right now too.

Does anyone know how long the goats will be working at the school? My kids would love to see them. Are they going to be there over the weekend?
They were originally scheduled to leave on Sunday … but that was when they were to arrive yesterday, and that was delayed because of the storm. We will check with our contact to see if they are staying any longer because of the delayed arrival. The best time to see them will be tomorrow 10 am-2 pm when Gatewood is having a big fun community event centered on the goats’ visit, “Kids for Kids.”
How does this goat thing work? Do they leave the goats there overnight?
Because of yesterday’s weather delay, the goats will now be here until Tuesday morning. The goat wrangler set up a fenced perimeter to keep them in prime eating area. Goats and wrangler will remain on site until the job is done.
Please stop by on Saturday to see the goats in person!
OMG – I was picturing 2 or 3 goats. That’s a lotta goats!
Went for a walk-about Saturday night and was delighted to see the goats there, some still eating away, while others were taking a break. I thought they were only going to be there during the day so it was a pleasant surprise.
Sorry, comment time is over.
