New grand-opening date @ ex-Cat’s Eye Cafe

The folks behind the Four Aims Center, at the site of the ex-Cat’s Eye Cafe just north of Lincoln Park, just sent word their grand-opening party is now set for Feb. 11.

  2. Sorry to say there now appears to be a massive bakery-free zone stretching from Morgan Junction to the little Fauntleroy business district. Perhaps someone can set up a roadside donut stand.

  4. If it’s doughnuts and great pastries you’re craving-PLEASE try The Original Bakery-next to Endolyne Joes.It has the best baked goods and if you like brioche-on Saturday mornings they’re warm right out of the oven and you’ll be in heaven!

  5. BTW – The Original Bakery is CLOSED on Mondays! (What’s up with that?) We were craving one of their Better-than-Top-Pot chocolate donuts and were sorely disappointed to find them closed yesterday :-( Ended up driving to Westwood Starbucks. Hrmph.
