BarbGMemberI think the only rule I have for drinking is…well, I guess I don’t really have any. But turning up the heat in the house and having a refreshing mojito sounds delicious!

flowerpetalMemberI’d forgotten that possibility BarbG. I went to a summer beach party one January here in Seattle. Heat turned up. Calendars on the wall flipped ahead to August. Fruity cocktails. Sarongs and flip-flops.
It was all well and good until we had to face the harsh reality of going home in the winter January chill which is Seattle.

i can’t take credit for recognizing the improvement in attitudes once the subject of happy hour was introduced…
give credit where credit is due.. post 34 by luigilinguini…
but i can take credit for 10 un-smudged toes. I didn’t do so well with the fingers though… but they will still be protected when i go dig in the dirt this afternoon… i have a lot of plants to get into the greenhouse…
yes.. it’s spring.
