    Hi

We just acquired a hot tub and need a solid person or company for maintenance and cleaning. Can anyone make a good recommendation?

    Thanks!

Aqua Quip in the SHDO area on 4th south. They have been servicing my hot tub for 20 years and know what they are doing.

If your hot tub is in good shape, you can do the maintenance and cleaning yourself. Go into the store and explain your situation and they can explain steps needed and sell you the products. It is expensive to have them come out & not really necessary. I do my own weekly adding of chemicals. Only necessary to empty the tub twice/year, clean and refill. Takes me abt. 15min. per week to add chemicals and wash out the filter. Emptying the tub (into the garden) and then refilling & adding chemicals can be done – but takes time to empty. They have a free water analysis service – you take in a container of water and they print out a sheet, telling you what chemicals to add and how much. If you need easy instruction on how to empty the tub, contact me at mdequetteville@comcast.net.
