Part-Time Dog Walkers Needed: $17-18/hr+benefits, 20-25 hours/week

Puget Sound Puppers is looking for 1-2 motivated candidates to join our West Seattle Team as part-time dog walkers. Candidates will be expected to tailor each 15-60 minute appointment to the needs of the dog, as well as adhere to our policy of avoiding aversive training methods when working with animals.

Compensation:

• Starting at $17-$18/hr on weekdays, 20-25 hours/week
• Medical Insurance benefits available after 60 days for walkers with an average of 20+ hours/week
• Monthly Gas Stipend
• Paid Time Off for sick days or vacation (accumulates starting from hire, can be used after 90 days)
• $100 gear stipend offered after 90 days

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Owns an insured, motorized vehicle (e.g., car, moped)
• Has a smartphone capable of running our software/app (Precise Pet Care)
• Meet the physical challenges of dogs that can lunge, pull, and jump on leash
• Available Monday through Friday, for 4 to 5 hours between 10am and 4pm (we have a list of available shifts on our application form)
