EdSaneParticipantlmao, this thread is hilarious. Just expand your horizons to actual political forums, or if you’ve heard of pravda (back when they had an english forum). This place is so tame. People come and go as is the nature of things. This forum is much too polite to force anyone out in comparison to the rest of the internet and especially the dark/grey web.

velo_nutParticipantEdsane- agree, actually. As a Redditor, this is tame. :-)

F16CrewChiefMemberMaybe all those mysterious lights in the night sky aren’t really lanterns? West Seattle may have a serious case of UFO abductions. Did we ever figure out that strange humming noise we thought were fish vibrating?
Mulder…Scully…help!

the mysterious lights in my yard are indeed lanterns .. of the solar variety… i hope they won’t someday take it into their head to fly away…

my middle aged body didn’t follow my middle aged heart to that concert… i wish it had:)
there is nothing like a weepy trip down memory lane to cleanse the soul ;->
heading to the hills today.. taking the two guys who did all of the really hard work creating my garden to go look at God’s handiwork.. should be a great day.

wakefloodParticipant…the wheels on the bus go ’round and ’round… :-)
I agree with the posters above who suggest multiple reasons why certain posters faded away. i.e. repetitive or redundant topics (especially the circular ones that start out as unique and end up with the same tautological postings), election fatigue, life changes, seasonal changes, axe already ground to nub, etc.
Having said that, I look forward to seeing fresh topics with good, well-formed thoughts anytime they show up. And like everything else in life, those peaks tend to be cyclical.
This space is still a handy thing to have and share with my neighbors of every ilk here in our little slice of paradise.
Be well, be safe, and have fun, ya’ll.

wakefloodParticipantAnd I forgot to say, that #18 twobottles flow chart should be connected to every initial posting of a potential discussion topic. It’s effing perfect. Thanks for that. :-)
