Kb88Participanthttps://www.fredhutch.org/en/research/institutes-networks-ircs/hutchinson-institute-for-cancer-outcomes-research/reports.html has helpful information as you are trying to decide where to go.
I found getting diagnostic imaging took many months when it was with an outside referral. If you’re worried about cancer but don’t have a diagnosis i would encourage you to go back to any care provider who could get you in to be screened as soon as possible, or maybe the ER.
Fred hutch and UW are not in all health care plans so you might see if they are in your covered network before going there. As a heads up Fred hutch will bill as an outpatient procedure for office visits so the expenses may bill differently than you expect.
Of the various options around here, I’ve heard good things about Fred hutch, Virginia Mason, and swedish.

BuckarooSisParticipantHello. I sincerely hope you are not going to be diagnosed, but I had exceptional care from Kaiser Permanente on Capitol Hill. I was diagnosed, tested counseled there. For my two surgeries, both were done by incredible Doctors and other Professionals at their Bellevue location. My recovery was three days in Hospital with great care. Afterward, Chemo and other treatments were done at the Capitol Hill location. I have NO concerns or complaints, after being in recovery for about 6 years now. I cannot recommend them enough. Good luck and best wishes.

BobLoblawParticipantPosting on behalf of Mrs. Loblaw, who has been there, done that with oncology, unfortunately β¦
Dr. Henry Li at The Polyclinic downtown is fantastic. Heβs highly experienced, a leader in the field, takes his time with patients and makes the entire experience far less scary.
His office, full of caring staff, can be reached at 206-860-2371
