I was going to go with Empire but their BBB profile is full of complaints. Anyone have experience with a company that can do this at a decent price?

the floors in my house were refinished by Joe Brower of Shorewood Hardwood Flooring – they’re gorgeous. And it was reasonable – for an 800sf house I think it was $1200.

I have not been able to find a knowledgeable flooring company for sound abating commercial application… able to wash daily… that will stand up to 3 100 pound dogs. Any suggestions? I have about 800 square feet to cover and I expect it will be one of the new high tech ;-) vinyl products. Second floor, plywood subfloor currently has ten year old wall to wall. Thanks!
