West Seattle-based general contracting/painting business (41 years – started in 1978) seeks “An Assistant to The Owner for All Office Administration Tasks as Well as Assisting on The Job Site as A Laborer and Administrator”. Assist and lead in all operations/administration tasks, including customer acquisitions, customer relations/retention, billing support, social media, general organization… and MUCH MORE.
We specialize in lead paint remediation, historic home restoration and clients whose personal health is affected indoor/outdoor air quality, as well as many commonly-used building materials and household products.
Experience in painting, construction or any other home services business is preferred, but not mandatory. Position available to any age, race, gender, etc. that can meet the physical requirements for the position.
Consideration goes to those who are currently involved in, have previously been involved in or have some knowledge/interest in environmental issues, homelessness issues, animal rights, social justice or other related concerns!
Work hours are initially Sunday through Thursday from 7 AM until 3:30 PM – either at our Burien office or at the current job site. Our intention is that once the new person is settled in and established, days of the week will change to Monday through Friday.
