Has anyone (including the Seattle Department of Transportation) noticed that the elevated roadway is crumbling. Rebar visible, cracks widening, multiple holes that don’t hold a patch. It will require months of shutting down eastbound lanes once the City decides it’s unsafe. That leaves West Marginal with one lane the only thoroughfare to 1st south bridge and on to I-5. It’s not like it just happened it was happening during the bridge repair that closed the highway for months. Seems the City could have fixed both while traffic was diverted?
