AnonymousInactiveFullTilt, did you say somewhere you are going to serve beer soon or did I imagine that? Alcohol is the key word here!

FullTiltParticipantWe have beer. At this point we have Hales, and Laughing Buddha (located in South Park). We should have more of a selection next week.

jMemberPretty sure that when I drove by the Alki Tavern last week, they had a free wifi sign in their window. Never been in there, but always been curious.

beachdrivegirlParticipantalki tavern is the biker bar right?
and full tilt do you have plans for baileys to make milkshakes with???
January 11, 2009 at 11:50 pm #654463
jMemberYep, biker bar. That’s why I had a good chuckle when I saw the wifi sign.

beachdrivegirlParticipantWell it just gave me quite the chuckle too. :)

FullTiltParticipantBig Al’s also.

FullTiltParticipantAs far as the Alki. A lot of those bikes are 20-30k. Thats a lot for a toy. SO even though they play tough looking bikers on the weekend, most of em are just yuppies.
January 12, 2009 at 12:37 am #654468
SueParticipantSkylark Cafe has wifi, as does Redline.

celeste17ParticipantFull tilt have you thought of doing an ice cream with the dredges of beer? I think Husky’s does a beer ice cream for Elliot bay brewery that EBB sales to their customers. Maybe Big Al’s could do something with you.
I would love something Bailey’s or Kahlua.
January 12, 2009 at 1:59 am #654472
FullTiltParticipantWe are working with an area brewery on a similar idea.
We are also going to be doing a tasting with Laughing Buddha brewery where we pair our ice creams with their beers. That should be in about three weeks.

JanSParticipantyum…Justin, didn’t you say you might try a porter ice cream? pairing ice cream with beer…make sure you give us a date…we’ll all come and taste – lol….

AnonymousInactiveWho’s “Justin”?
Alocoholic ice cream sounds exciting! What a great innovative idea! Can’t wait until it’s available!
Thanks, everyone, for the bars-with-wifi- recs! You’ve just made my life a LOT easier! :)
January 12, 2009 at 4:15 am #654475
SueParticipantNR, Justin is “FullTilt” here on the Forum – one of the co-owners of the ice cream place of the same name in White Center.

alki_2008ParticipantIf you’re looking for wifi+beer+view, then you could also check out Pioneer coffee on Alki beach. Yep, I said coffee.
But, they also sell beer and wine. PBR’s for cheap! However, they’re not open as late as bars – if that’s part of what you’re looking for.
:-)

What TheMemberYou can pick up the wifi signal from the Admiral Pub next door at the Pagoda Room.
Or does “Wifi” mean “Wiffle Ball”? If that’s the case than same applies above.
