Michael WaldoParticipantFinally ate at the Bang Bar. I didn’t feel like going when it opened, reading the blog, it seemed over priced for Thai food.
But I read they had listened to the community and adjusted the prices and added more “traditional” Thai dishes. Well, I got a 15% off coupon in the mail and decided to give them a try. It was very good food and the prices seemed reasonable for the quality and quantity of each dish. Beautifully presented. The service was a bit off. Ordered an second glass of wine. never got it but it was on the bill. But they took it off, no questions asked. With the prices above average, still not a place I will go to often, but I will go back again, even without a coupon.

JiggersMemberIf my customer never got their order like a glass of wine especially, I would fire them on the spot. Liquor sales makes the bottom line. No dropping the ball. Service is the key to success.

JanSParticipantI had take out from here before they raised the minimum to $40. I’m just one person…can’t eat 40 bucks worth in one evening. But, what I had was excellent.

shed22ParticipantI enjoy their cashew chicken. Very flavorful and just the right heat for me (I like it hot). The lunch prices are reasonable.

TraciMemberDid they raise the minimum to $40 very recently? My husband gets takeout there all the time and it’s never been an issue. I hope we can continue to get their takeout!
We love Bang Bar. We’ve never had an issue with spotty service, on the contrary they’ve all been super awesome. We eat there regularly and have never been dissatisfied. Their crab Pad Thai with the soft shell crab on to is probably the best so far, it was amazing! As for their pricing, it’s really not much different than other comparable restaurants.

JanSParticipantApologies…I meant delivery, not takeout.

EdSaneParticipantI’ve been there several times. I didn’t find them over priced compared to other Thai Restaurants. I also enjoyed the atmosphere not too loud and very clean (especially the restrooms).

JiggersMemberThey have a decent happy hour if you’re a martini fan. Can’t go wrong with the pricing.
