Hmmm … actually I was always inspired by the “grass-roots” art that would come and go in the form of wolves, bears, etc. seemingly “decoupaged” on the concrete. I particularly fell head-over-heals for the Groucho Marx’s a few years ago.
I’d like to encourage that type of art rather than big-funded, permanent installations. (I’m of course not taking into account how that art “disappears.” I imagine it’s an irate city clean-up crew that comes in, but if there was a means that was publicized on “light-touch removal” that might negate some of that hubbub.)
