In partnership with The Seattle Public Library, local author Amy Pennington will use seasonal vegetables from the farmers market to demonstrate recipes from her book “Fresh Pantry: Eat
Seasonally, Cook Smart and Learn to Love Your Vegetables” at the West Seattle Farmers
Market – 10:30 am to noon Sunday, June 26th.
“Fresh Pantry” features simple recipes centered on one vegetable or fruit per month. The recipes show cooks how to create seasonal meals throughout the year.
