Big games tonight for two teams in WS Little League, which has been hosting a regional All-Star Tournament at Bar-S Playfield (atop Alki Point): The 10-11 team moved on to the state tournament and plays in Kirkland tonight; the 9-10 team is in a double-elimination round and has a must-win match tonight (6 pm @ Bar-S). The 11-12 team has two wins under its belt too; good luck to all!
Last night we had quite a game, but the season ended for the WSLL 9-10 team. They battled the South Highline Nationals in extra innings, with SHN coming out on top, 3-2. They advance to the 9-10 State Tournament in Vancouver, WA and we all wish them good luck. Thanks to all the folks who came out to enjoy our games at Bar-S. It was a memorable All-Star season for our kids!
State Tournament play begins for the WSLL 10-11’s on Sunday, July 15th at 1pm. Everest Field, Kirkland, WA. Go West Side!
The 11-12’s continue playing at PacWest tonight at 6pm.
