West Seattle weekend scenes: Sky shows

The Moon and Venus have added to the sky show just after sunset this weekend. Top view is from Kanit Cottrell, while Chris Frankovich contributed the planetary closeup below:

I’m so glad there were photos from capable people–I stood outside and admired that moon and Venus for quite a while, but I don’t have the kind of camera that would give me anything useful to remember it by!
