WEST SEATTLE 5K: At 8 this morning, Alki SW will close, between 63rd and Don Armeni, for the ninth annual West Seattle 5K run/walk. It’s a benefit for West Seattle High School, with sponsors including WSB. If you’re not signed up, you can still be part of it – last-minute registration starts at 8 near the start of the course. Race starts from 61st/Alki around 9:20 am. (61st/Alki)
WEST SEATTLE FARMERS’ MARKET: 10 am-2 pm in the street, in The Junction. The Master Gardeners are there too for free plant/gardening advice! (California between Oregon and Alaska)
