A-ha! So THAT’S what just buzzed Pioneer Square! My first thought after hearing them pass was, “I wonder if the West Seattle Blog has anything about it?” As if there was a doubt! As always, THE best local news source bar none! The Times and the TV & radio guys could learn TONS from y’all!
Thanks for the kind words – it’s been a decade now but TV and radio are where we spent many years pre-WSB. Anyway, we’d be nowhere without community collaboration – we are off-peninsula at the moment and didn’t hear the jets this time, but people texted and e-mailed to ask, and that’s when I thought, “Sounders at 2 pm … hmm … might be it” and checked. – TR

I don’t recall seeing any advance notice about this–maybe I missed seeing it? It did kinda scare me.
They flew over my house, I wondered what they were doing. I work down in Georgetown so I have seen and heard a lot of them over the past few months.
Scared of airplanes? Seriously??? It’s not like there’s a war on, or jet airplanes have never been seen in Seattle.
