Nice picture Jeremiah. I forget the beauty of black and white photography…and it is difficult to take of such shots unless you think in B&W.

THANK YOU REALLY SO VERY MUCH, West Seattle American Legion Post #160, for the really nice Veterans Day dinner that you gave to us all earlier this evening, from my
long-time room-mate, Barbara, and also from myself! It was a very good dinner and, since it was an Italian-type dinner, it reminded me of my
late-step father, Gino John Giovacchini, formerly of the West Seattle area. Gino cooked Italian dinners for us all at home, all of the time — because, of course, he was Italian!

I didn’t know for all of these years that I could join the American Legion so THANK YOU for giving me information on that, as well! I was in two branches of the United States military — the
U.S. Army and then, later, the U.S. Air Force.
I was in the United States military between those dates that I cannot find right now — however, anyway, it was during what is known as the Vietnam Era.

You have some wonderful people over there at
West Seattle American Legion Post #160! We’re REALLY GLAD AND HAPPY that we came down there to your American Legion Post #160 and to your Italian dinner earlier this evening! And, again, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! Peace be with you all — and also with all of yours!!!

Sorry, comment time is over.
