SATURDAY, APRIL 20: At Alki Community Center, “An egg-stra special fun time, rain or shine. From 8:30-9:30 a.m., pictures with Mr. Rabbit and a light breakfast will be served. Please meet in the Alki gym. Groups disperse at 9:50 a.m. with hunt beginning at 10 a.m. promptly. Don’t forget your running shoes a bag/basket to hold all your goodies in. Teen and adult volunteers are greatly appreciated. Ages 3-11.” (5817 SW Stevens)

SATURDAY, APRIL 20: Egg hunt at Puget Ridge Edible Park, all ages, 2-4 pm. “Event activities include age-based timed-release egg hunt, face painting, bubbles, candy toss, and sack races. Bring your own basket.” (5265 18th SW)

SATURDAY, APRIL 20: Beer Garden Egg Hunt at Ounces (3809 Delridge Way SW), starting at 3 pm: “Parents, bring those kiddos out for an afternoon of Egg Hunting! We’ll be hiding over 1000 eggs across our beer garden! Beer for you, candy for the kids! Hunt starts at 3 pm. Free to participate and open to kids of all ages. Napkin Friends will be here serving food for the event!”

SUNDAY, APRIL 21: Seattle Yarn (5633 California SW) is offering “an egg hunt for yarn-loving adults on Easter from 10 AM-5 PM. Not your children’s egg hunt. This one is for yarn lovers! We’ll hide 100 eggs around the shop with fun goodies – look for short-term coupons as well as sweet treats and prizes!!!”

TIBBETTS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (3940 41st SW; WSB sponsor)

April 21 – Easter Sunday
Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall from 8:30 am – 9:45 am

Easter Egg Hunt 11 am

On Sunday, April 21 we will gather in community to share a meal as we celebrate the promise of new life! The Easter breakfast will take place at 8:30 am-9:45 am in the Fellowship Hall (corner of 41st & Andover). A suggested donation of $10 per family is requested and all proceeds will go to support the youth program at Tibbetts.

At 10 am we will gather in the sanctuary for worship. This service will feature the gifts of the Tibbetts Chancel and Bell choirs, as well as guest musicians.

At 11 am children are invited to gather in the sanctuary in preparation for our Easter egg hunt. The Easter Egg hunt will take place on the front lawn, rain or shine, so dress accordingly! Children will be dismissed by age group to hunt for eggs.

ALL SOULS SEATTLE (at Madison Middle School, 45th/Spokane; WSB sponsor)

Worship with All Souls on Easter
Sunday, Apr 21, 9 + 11:15 am

Easter marks the beginning of gospel hope and renewal in the lives of those who know and trust Jesus.

All Souls will host two worship services— the first will include standard kids’ classes (nursery-upper elem.) concluding with an Easter egg hunt, and the second will include childcare for nursery and Easter activities/egg hunt for toddler-PreK (we will provide an interactive kids’ activity packet for those who remain in worship). In between services, we invite you to join us for a reception on the patio.

As always, worship will be designed start-to-finish for those at every point on the spiritual spectrum. Every Sunday is a good Sunday to visit All Souls for the first time.

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH (3050 California SW)

Please join us for what is the single most important time for faithful Christians, The Great Week – The Holy Week, and enter into and experience the fullness of the traditional worship. The Reverend Kate Wesch will preside at all services. The Reverend Emily Tanis-Likkel, UCC, and Minister of Family Life will preach at the Easter Vigil.

Remember to bring bells! You are invited and encouraged to bring bells to the Easter Vigil. Ring them every time we sing, say or otherwise utter the word “Alleluia!”
