clark5080ParticipantThe University of Washington releases its poll testing the potential Senate race between Sen. Patty Murray (D) and two-time gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi (R). Rossi has just announced after months of anticipation that he will indeed run.

HMC RichParticipantCarson. Your tea reference is rude. You know, I like Ken’s references towards the dark side because they are usually clever or somewhat appropriate.
I would love Clint to get in. You guys would be making your therapists wealthy if he or a Tea Partier won. Murray will be hard to beat but with so many undecided, you never know.
I am not certain who I will vote for yet. The worse the economy gets (and I hope it doesn’t get worse) the more likely a revolt towards new blood from the independents (and some disgruntled blue dogs) kicking Mrs. Murray out of DC and Dino to the sidelines.

CarsonParticipantIts ok Rich, I find many of the Tea Baggers to be equally rude and offensive.

JoBParticipantHMCRich…
the problem with sending us all to our psychiatrists.. is that there will be real reason for that anxiety if Dino finally finds his way to that seat.
it’s too bad we can’t find a way to focus some of that anger on the people who got us here.. not those who are left to clean up the mess.
Murray isn’t my ideal by a long shot.. she is far too right leaning for me… but she certainly beats the alternatives.
You so don’t know what a real lefty looks like ;->
Maybe the prospect of Dino will be enough to bring the dems to the polls in droves. I can only hope since they will vote in all races once they are there.
By the way.. i just got back from San Francisco and got to hear the gubernatorial ads there.. they are embracing their anti-choice, anti-family, anti public education, anti immigration, anti gay, anti public services base in a way i haven’t seen for quite a while…
It’s ugly out there…

JanSParticipantMany in the “tea party” wear hats, etc. with tea bags hanging from them..so why is it rude for someone to say the words “tea bag” when referring to these people? Are we that sensitive? Good Grief! Please, let’s get upset at what’s going on in our country that we’re unhappy about. But to call someone out because of something like this is picayune, in my book. There are so many more things that one should consider rude…just look towards the gulf.
