On November 14th the Pathfinder K-8 PTSA will be hosting Amy Lang and her interactive presentation “Birds + Bees + YOUR Kids – It’s time to start talking!” The presentation is open to all parents, will begin at 6:45 and admission is free. We would love to have you attend!
The interactive presentation is for parents of elementary school age children and older (no children please!). It will help parents understand the need to start the conversations early and continue them throughout childhood and adolescence. Parents will learn what works for kids, have time to talk about their own experiences and values, and learn about teen sexual behavior in an open and candid atmosphere.
The speaker, Amy Lang, MA has given presentations and training to hundreds of parents on issues of sexuality, love, relationships and parenting. She has been featured on KUOW, in the Seattle Times and Parent Map.
