Growing Lotus successfully

Hi Gardening Buddies,

Is anyone growing Lotus successfully? Please share whether you are growing them in pond or pots, what kind of display of blooms you get and when, how you fertilize them and also whether you have eaten your own harvest of roots. Cheers!

Hello, I’m planning to plant lotus next year. I actually bought the seeds already and just waiting for them to arrive. I’ll be planting them in tubs as my pond water does not really get that warm until the summer and by then it would be too late for it to thrive and hopefully bloom. Have you tried planting them?
