The signature cafe dip from safeway is simple but we really like it. Only artichokes, no crab or spinach.

QFC had the best prepared artichoke dip (between it, MM, TW, Safeway, PCC) but I have not had it this year..PCC’s was close. No crab or spinach.

The best artichoke dip in West Seattle could possibly be in your kitchen. Here is my favorite recipe from an old friend:

1 jar/can of artichoke hearts (packed in water)

    1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 large cloves of garlic (crushed)

Combine ingredients and blend until completely smooth. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with chunks of fresh, rustic bread.

    hey cjb,

i loved that recipe – my mom made it! I think she might have tossed in a tiny bit of minced/chopped walnut too? With or without the nuts, though, it was always delish.

I make mine similar to cjb, only I add a can of green chilies and some chopped pickled jalopenos to taste.
