Another stolen pickup truck to watch for – this one belongs to Miles, who sent the photo and report:
My truck was stolen this weekend parked on the corner of 42nd Ave SW and SW Andover St. The license-plate number is C28337Y (The old plates from the previous owner were in the cab, those plates had the number C56269K.) Gray 1999 GMC Sierra.
Call 911 if you see it.
Geez so many stolen vehicles (lately)! I’d be so mad if it were my car and I’m sure these people are. Hope they come back to all in good shape and soon!Do you all know that if you sell a vehicle you are to take the plates off before the new owner takes possession of it, we did with my car we sold a couple years ago after finding out that my mom in law didn’t on hers and the person who bought it crossed the Tac Narrows bridge without paying and she got the ticket, least no plates the new owner will register it right away.
I invested in a GPS service with t-mobile but one that can’t be seen in a unknown location in vehicle is the only way to help SPD find the person responsible since they can’t pursue.
My neighbor’s truck was stolen on Christmas eve. They found it a couple weeks later at the homeless camp underneath the WS Bridge. I hope you find your truck
My Nissan 1992 pickup was stolen 1/31/22 from 39th and Andover. I got it back 2/2/22 not running, and at least six needles in the cab. A fire had been started in the bed. I can’t start it because they broke the ignition ,using a screwdriver to start it. Iam really thankful the police found ,it and I sure hope yours is returned.
